Maida's Other Little Website of Maida Books
by Inez Haynes Irwin

For collectors of the Maida Series of novels by Inez Haynes Irwin, books with dust covers are very difficult to find or afford.  For those of us with books without dust jackets, it is very nice to have an opportunity to see what the covers looked like for the editions of the books we have collected that do not have dust jackets.   I hope that you have enjoy these pictures.
For more pictures including different covers, larger dust jacket pictures, and the pre-WW-II polka-dot dust jackets, click on the icons for each book.

I hope you will share pictures of books that you have , which I am missing, by sending me pictures to include here.  If you send me pictures to include, I would like to express my appreciation by including your name as a contributor .  If you would prefer for your contributions to remain anonymous, please let me know when you send the pictures.

The icons above are from the dust jackets of the post-WW-II, "Blue Anchor Cover ", versions of the Maida Series.  Many of the dust  jacket pictures that you see here are not very good, because I do not have the dust jackets to scan . I have used pictures that I could find.  Unfortunately, many of these pictures are enlargements of very low-resolution small photographs of damaged books and dust jackets, taken with poor light, from a bad angle.  I have tried to digitally restore and enhance these pictures as much as possible.

If you have any of these dust jackets and a scanner, I would appreciate if you could scan your book cover and dust jacket and email me a copy of the files.  Click here for instructions on sending  these pictures.

Thank you,
Greg Tippitt

We are sorry for the ads that appear on this website, which some users of the site have complained about.  These ads appear because we are using free web hosting services that are supported by advertising.  We are not making money from these ads and have no control over them.  We are sorry they are necessary, but we are providing the website as a hobby to share information with other collectors of these books and do not make any money from the website.  We are disabled and cannot afford to pay for web hosting services without advertising.  This website is mirrored on two different web hosting services.  Depending upon different circumstances, one might be faster than you than the other.

The site hosted at maidaweb.tripod.com sometimes provides faster loading of graphics, but is plagued by banner ads as well as popup ads.

The site hosted at maida.no-ip.org has has fewer popup ads and no banner ads, but it may provide slower loading of graphics for some users with broadband Internet access.

Please enjoy and endure the ads.  In the future, we may offer for sale extra copies of some Maida books from our collection in order to pay for web hosting that does not have ads.
